What is the difference between Standard & Premium Data
The difference between Standard and Premium data is mainly the recency of the data. Premium is the most up-to-date data available from a combination of most reputable list owners such as Experian Business, Dun & Bradstreet, Data HQ plus some smaller list owners.
The Standard Data is updated monthly with 20,000 to 60,000 records updated each time. Around 70% of data has been validated within last 9-months. All updates are included FOC in UK Standard Data.
How up-to-date is the b2b data?
As mentioned above Premium is the most up-to-date data sourced from a compilation of data from data HQ, Experian Business and Dun and Bradstreet. The database is refreshed quarterly, and also a proportion is telephone-validated on a rotational basis.
Standard Data is older than premium (hence being less expensive). We validate and update a proportion of the database each month (avg 30,000 to 60,000 records). On average 70% of the data has been validated within 9-months. Standard data includes a 'date of last refresh' field so that you can easily identify the records that have been validated most recently.
Where does your data come from?
We are both a List Owner and Data Broker. We ONLY source data from reputable, legitimate and ethical sources - such as Experian Business, Dun and Bradstreet, Data HQ, Corp Data, Eco Agency and Millhouse Data.
We also run our own in-house data research team to validate and gather data.
We can trace the origination, and vouch for the legitimacy, of every piece of data that we sell.
I see more data offered elsewhere - what's the catch?
This question mainly applies to the UK Standard database, and is in response to a question we are often asked.
Yes, we are aware of a small number of traders offering as many as 3 or 4 million contacts in a single database some cases.
While we do indeed hold around 5 million business records, we only include around 1.5 million contacts in our Business Standard database (for £185.00 + vat). This is because we will only supply complete, properly formatted and valid records. That is, we have removed all records that are (a) not complete (b) are very old (c) are incorrect.
We work very hard to maintain the excellent content and clean format of our UK database, which is second to none. We do not believe it adds value to offer lots of incomplete or old records. Please contact us to request a sample.
Is the data guaranteed?
Yes. All of our data is guaranteed. We offer a no-nonsense refund or replace scheme on every database we sell.
What are your license terms?
Our data is sold on a 1-year multi-use licence. We operate a fair-use policy whereby we cap the number of emails (per contact) at 12X contacts per year.
When you enter into sales dialogue with a contact, and/or gain their permission to contact them again, then that contact is considered yours, and so supercedes the licence agreement.
Under no circumstances can you resell, redistribute or publish any of our data - Our databases are seeded and actively monitored against breaches of copyright.
What format does the data come in?
Most databases are emailed in Excel. Our UK Standard database can be downloaded from our secure server area and also comes with a unique and very useful online search and download facility, which allows you to carry our your own searches, and build your own lists without the bother of trawling through millions of records in Excel.
We can offer most other formats on request (text, access, sql etc.)
How do I pay for the data?
You can pay securely by card via our PayPal checkout - please note you do not require a PayPal account.
We can also accept payment by BACS/online banking or cheque - just drop us a line and we will send you an invoice by return.
Why is your data less expensive than other suppliers?
We are a small family run business, so don't have the large overheads of many of our competitors. We have also invested heavily in cutting edge database
infrastructure technology, which means that we require less technical staff than our competitors.
How long does the data take to arrive?
Upon order completion we normally deliver your data well within 2-hours during normal office hours.
